Please post the simple serial strings...

As far as the IR, use AMX IREdit to convert pronto hex codes to a complete AMX IR File.

    Thanks

the protocol is very simple, its not a protocol issue..

    http://www.algolith.com/fileadmin/HomeTheater/Dragonfly/3011-6004DS-002_Remote_Control_Protocol_Design_Specification.pdf

even when we are working with the IR remote that come with it there are probelms when we connect HDMI input. when we are working with Svido inputs every thing is ok...

But just wanted to know how to work with IR codes.

The ir edit discreet code don't take them... the format is not good for AMX

    Command Power Toggle
    IR Code 12
    HEX Code 0x0000000C
    Pronto TSU-3000 IR Code 5000 0000 0000 0001 0018 000C

is there any way to convert pronto hex codes to AMX ir file?

It seems the IREdit does not work with the shorter pronto hex codes. Tested several I found on the remotecentral.com the longer hex codes seem to work 100% of the time.

Thanks, but there is no long hex code, only short hex code :)

This remote cannot be learned, so how can I use IR control if the codes are not good for AMX?

Do you have the remote? If you do have you tried learning the commands with an IRIS in SP mode? Do you have a Pronto 3000? Have you tried learning the commands to an IRIS with that?

I took your Power Toggle and put it into a 3000 and then learned it using an IRIS. See if this will work.

    Thanks!

We tried to learn the remote with RTI, not with Iris.
    I don't have pronto...

I will try your file next time I will be at the customer home

Thanks a lot for the effort,

    Ady.

Is this an actual dragonfly command? If so where did you find it? I can not find any codes (long or short) on the remoteCentral.com website. I was able to capture all of the remote commands on the IRIS using special mode, but there are a number of IR functions listed on the algolith website that do not have corresponding button pushes on the physical remote.
