Does anybody got the rs232 control protocol for the hitachi plasma 42PD9800 model?

    i think this will help u!!

    remember u need to get in the setup inorder to ena rs232 on hitachi:

    This information should be read in conjunction with the following documents:-

    1) Protocol Specification Document
    2) Protocol Technical Info
    3) Product User Manual

    Ref:- Cable Wiring Info
    The cable should have a 9 pin D-Sub (female) connector at each end.
    The max cable length of RS232c is 15m.

    The pins that should be wired are as follows:-
    All the remaining pins have no connections..

    The following list is an example of the command structure required. For a full listing of the commands available to the s/w developer, please refer to the Protocol Specification Document.
