Experience with GE NX8E Security System Module??

I'm going into this one blind. Has anyone any experience with the AMX module for this alarm system?

    We used these a lot before the local security people decided to use Ademco Vista panels. I think I was using the AMX module for the comm and it worked well. If you run into problems, I can take a look at previous jobs and see if it reminds me of any tricks or workarounds.

    Thakns for your reply. The control system will be installed in the next few weeks. I'll post if I run into anything out of the ordinary.

    I have used the NX8E with the AMX Netlinx module with pretty good success; initialization can be a bit long, but after that, it's all good.

    There are a number of settings that one has to adjust in the NX8E itself, so look at the first pages of the module and make sure look over the shoulder of whoever is doing the NX8E programming to make sure it's all done right.
