NXD-CV5 Locking Up

To All,
I have a couple of customers who have NXD-CV5 units installed. In recent months, the touch panel seems to be locking up.
Well to be more exact, the physical touch screen itself is not responding to touch, however, if you connect to it via a VNC viewer, then you can control the unit just fine.
After a power cycle of the CV5, then it begins to operate correctly. It may be happening when it goes to sleep.
I was once told that a separate processor was use to handle the touch screen glass. I would almost take a guess that processor is not firing up when the screen is touched, but this is a guess. I have not been able to do any additional testing so this is all the data I have.
I am just looking to see if anyone else is or has had a similar problem.
