INPUT led on Ni3000 light all the time

When I power UP NI300 without any device connected to it, INPUT led on the front side of controler LIGHT, and doesnot go off !

I have tried to reboot it 3-4 times by turning it off an on, but it is the same.

What to do ?

  • Maybe the operation mode of that I/O was reconfigured to "High active". Try the following command form terminal/telnet, or in the DATA_EVENT..ONLINE of the I/O device:
    SEND_COMMAND 5001:17:0,'SET INPUT 1 LOW'
This would set Input 1 to LOW active (default setting), which means you have to pull it to ground to get a PUSH.
  • It is INPUT led near the OUTPUT led, not I/o port led ! I cant connect to master, i have tried trought Serial and IP but with no results.
  • Ups, misunderstood.....
  • As I understand you over the phone, the problem is in firmware :(

So , just to leave it as "solve", I can't do anything

This is a classic symptom of a corrupted CF card. It's possible it could be something else, but that is the most likely. AMX did have a bad batch of them at one point, long since resolved, but there have got to be some of the bad ones still floating around waiting to die.
  • I HAVe had this once, when I did COMBINE_DEVICE twice on the same devs.
