Zigbee Network best practice

I'm wondering what you have found in the field is the best way to deploy a zigbee network. Do you installed the gateway in a central location and space out the repeaters? What is the typical distance between the gateway and the repeaters?

    1. Install the Gateway
    2. Install your Repeaters (typical distance depends on how thick the concrete walls are, dunno what it would be on free space)
    3. close all doors/rack doors/lockers.. try to get the worst possible situation
    4. if it says under connections "excellent" you are likely to have a connection IT MIGHT BE WEAK AND FAR FROM EXCELLENT. the green "excellent" is to understand as "yes" not as "excellent" as it shows either "excellent" or nothing, there is no "good/weak/poor" as on MVPs.
