Hi,

I have a NEC LCD 4010 and want to control it via AMX. Now I'm haivng problems understanding the string context for these...

I have done this so far $01,$30,$2A,$30,$41,$30,$36,$02,$30,$31,$44,$36,$03,BCC,$0d

I believe it is meant to request the power status of the monitor. However I don't know if its right or wrong and I don't understand how to calculate the BCC ????

    I have an example for 3000/4000 series. It has a function LCD3K4K_DO_COMMAND() for any command type. Includes some sample calls for volume.

    Thanks guys - I am trying to send a string out through 'Control a Device' just to test it first. Its the checksum which is the hardpart...

    Thanks for posting an example of the code. It definately helped on programming a 4020/4620.
