System Disable for Holidays?

Does anyone have any thoughts on how to set up a program that will disable a system for specific days during the year. Such as Christmas, New Years, Thanksgiving. We are closed on most holidays and would like to disable some of our systems that automatically turn on/off based on time. Based on the Netlinx help file, you can specify a full date, ie: 12/25/2007. But cannot make a portion of this a wildcard to make it perpetually happen every year for instance.

Anyone had any reason to do this and if so, how might you go about it.
