Hitachi CPX-995 Projector

My installers are having a hard time with the 15-pin to 9-pin cable required for this projector. Does anyone have a picture or list of how the cable should be made ir order for it to work with the AMX? The Hitachi drawing shows several pins being jumpered and I'm not too sure how the NI will like that - but need to know what is required to make it work.

Their initial attempt to fabricate the cable was not successful.

Also, once the cable is correct, are there any secrets or tricks required from the AMX side to get it to communicate properly?

That's wildly different from the diagram in the Hitachi manual, and they show the RS232 parameters as 19200,N,8,1.

I see why we couldn't get anything to work.

We follow the Hitachi manual, with the exception of loops on the "PC" side.

AMX -----> Proj
 2  ----->  14
 3  ----->  13
 5  ----->  6,7,10

This has worked for us for all Hitachi projectors from the CP-X275 through to the CP-X385. Yes the baud is 19200, not 9600.
