Need help with i!-EquipmentMonitor

Trying to setup an NI-4100 so that I can send an email to start a room. Basicly, I have the master setup and checking an email account correctly. But im having a hard time figurning out how to setup a buffer that would parse the email, and then setting up a way to look for a string and then executing a call or function.

Im new at this, im hoping someone out there has done this, or can help out.

ANY HELP IS MUCH APPRECIATED!

Equipment Monitor is mostly used to notify a help desk when there is a problem in the room. If you want to control functionality in a room, I would suggest RMS/Meeting Manager. There is actually a free vesion of meetingmanager for facilities with 5 rooms are less. Not sure what you are trying to do, but MeetingManager is a better tool.

    Thanks for the help

Thanks Jeff, I was just trying to over complicate things. I currently use I!-Email to send emails for help requests, i was just going to see if i could use the email function of I!email to send emails directly to controlers.

Thanks for all your posts, im sure you have helped 100s of people.

  • Does anyone know if there is a possibility to attach multiple files to an email with Equipment Monitor? By now, sSmtpQueue[].cFile[] seems to be used for a single file...
