TP Firmware update problem

I've updated a CV7 with v2.81.6 firmware. Now when I try to access the TP through web control I get an Internet Explorer Security Warning:

Windows has blocked this software because it can't verify the publisher.
Name: AMXG4WebControl.cab
Publisher: Unknown Publisher

There is an OK button. This is different than the security warning you get at the top and it lets you install something to continue, or the "Press the space bar or enter to continue" type warning. When I hit OK it is done, I have a black screen with a small red X.

I know it is related somehow to the firmware because I could access it fine before the firmware update.

Has anyone else seen this?

AMX tech support told me this is a known issue. Their certificate expired at the end of 2007 and they have not renewed it (yet?). You can either add the IP addresses of the TP and Master to IE's trusted sites list, or just use TightVNC or RealVNC.
