ni-2100 and tp and my laptop

I have a question . Can I unplug the 2100 and the tp from their internet connection and plug them into a seperate hub along with my laptop and transfer files that way.?

    Best bet would be to take a ethernet switch and plug the 2100, laptop and the tp into it. Since it would be a switch, you would have to give everything manual IP addressing. If you required an internet connection, you could get a simple 4 port Cable/DSL router and plug the incoming internet line into the Wan side and plug the laptop, 2100 and tp into the switched Lan side. If you have DHCP enabled, then you wouldn't need to set manual addressing.

    Yup, Thats what I did. It worked fine, In fact I like it so much I am going to throw one in my laptop bag for good.
