WAP250 firmware upgrade fails

I seem to be having a lot of trouble upgrading the firmware of a WAP250

current on 1.0.4.6, wanting to u/grade to 1.0.5

trying via http upgrade, and it seems to hang around for ages doing nothing......

got 1 to upgrade eventually, but the sceond one refuses to upgrade at all


Anyone got any clues ?

    In case that the Firmware Update by web will not work, you can update the WAP250 by FTP. Instructions see attached pdf.

    Copy the zz-img.bin file into the default directory c:\tftp-root.
    On ther emeergency recovery webpage of the wap, at filename type in the zz-img.bin, at IP address type the ip of your pc.

    I did some firmware updates some month ago on several WAP250?s. My first tries all failed - and I had no idea about the problem. But the solution was a very easy one: All tries to do the firmwareupdate via http using firefox (v2) did not finish. So after I spoke with Marc I did the same but I used Microsoft Internet Explorer. And all the WAP250 finally were able to be updated to the new firmware 1.0.5.0

    Ups.... yes, right, an option I forgot, and I run into this firefox thing yesterday :)
