RS-232 Control of any Digital TV STBs?

Has anyone acheived serial control of any of the Digital TV STBs? I have two federal coupons and would like to purchase convertors that I may be able to serially control.

Hi there buddy, this is my first time associating myself to a forum ever, I've successfuly controlled a Digital View DVR810 via RS 232.

Although I think this product might be overkill for what you need it for...
