Hi Guys,

Have anyone ever try to use amx computer control? I've tried to use it by following all the instruction on the tech note but it seems that it's still not able to connect.

Do you have any tips or solutions?

    Very, very rarely ... and even then, I don't use the AMX client on the PC, I use RealVNC. In my case, it's more of a design issue; I'm not a fan of controlling a computer with a bitty lil touch panel.

    I agree with Dave. I've had clients go gah gah after they read that they can "Surf the Internet from their touchpanel." After getting them set up to do it, they're disappointed with the practicality. To avoid that disappointment, I don't even bring that option to the table anymore.

    Guys.. I have solved it already.. The reason why I want to use the amxcc is because I need the take note function..
    I tried it with an old version of realvnc but there was no annotation in the touch panel screen..
    I just install a new version of realvnc and it works fine..

    Computer Control..

    I have an application where I just want to start/stop power point presentations and play an audio clip once in a while. It's advertising in a casino environment. The hall already has quite a large AMX system. If there's another way to do this, I'm all ears.

    Have a look at i!PCLink-Powerpoint & i!PCLinkweb, these will enable you to do what you require with ease.
