Module for Autopatch PrecisDSP 18x18

Hi!
I need to control a Autopatch PrecisDSP 18x18. I found a module called Autopatch_Precis_v1.2 .It's corret for me?
How can I control the Volume? By the GAIN command?
Thanks a lot
Alex

I tell ya, the autopatch is very, very easy to program. I'd think it'd be harder to actually incorporate a module than to just do it yourself.

I wouldn't even waste the time with a module.

I agree. We use Autopatch all the time and they are really easy to control. I took one look at the module and thought why would I want to use that! Sometimes modules are great other times I think they are just written for the sake of it.

I think if he's asking if the module is right for him he may not be in a position to roll is own. I've read here on the forum that the Precis module works extremely well by several different members. Of course you would expect that AMX would take the time to write a decent module for its own equipment.

I personally have never used their module since when I started installing the AutoPatch switchers I knew I had a job coming up requiring multiple Precis 18x18 w/ DSP units that would have to work as one so I rolled my own that is limited to 3 units for a total of 54 zones that share 18 common inputs. The AMX module doesn't have the ability to do this so I didn't want to waste time testing it and using it in smaller jobs.

If it works, use it, unless you have tiime to kill and want to roll your own.

Ok. I make a module for myself.
But the response of BCS is not easy to parse....
    Thanks at all...
