Abbreviation Help

Thought I'd start a thread about abbreviating things - especially for engraved / custom keypads. In part, I'm starting this because I need help - but I also think it would be cool to keep this thread "sticky'd or just create a new section (if there's a large enough demand) for others who may have the same problem.

So - here we go. I need to abbreviate the following to fit on a single wide Metreau button. Using the Metreau Keypad Preview I can only fit between 6-8 characters depending on the characters. I'd prefer to use all caps since I don't think lower case lettering on the Metreau keypads would look good. If anyone has any pictures though of lower-case lettering on them, please post.

1. Easy Listening
2. Country
3. Instrumental

Here's what I was thinking:

1. EZ LISTN
2. CNTRY
3. INSTR

Any other ideas would be great! And also, feel free to piggy back on this thread with your own need for help.

mine's not really an abbreviation help, but more of a keypad help. i have 2 buttons for audio source and i don't know what to put there. i think it should be something like mood of the songs, not for a genre. which do u recommend:

UPBEAT - DNBEAT (downbeat?)
EASY - PARTY
JAZZ - CLASSIC
INSTR (instrumental) - (what's the opposite of instrumental, vocal?)
RELAX - PARTY
