Is this possible in NS4?

Is it possible to open the same file twice, or split the display of the file so you are viewing lines 1-10 and 141-150 at the same time?

I know I can copy and paste the code I want to look at into a separate file and open both files and then tile them, or I could use bookmarks and toggle between the two places, but I would rather just split the display.

    Sure.
    Open the file.
    Window --> New Window
    Window --> Tile Windows Horizontally

    Glad to help.

    When you posted the question regarding NS4 I thought I was going to learn something new. Thought you knew something we all didn?t know since NS3 is a rumor and NS2 is current. Then I figured it was just a typo.

    I'm running on little sleep at the moment and I must have been seeing double :) (2 x 2 = 4??? )

    I've been doing this for quite some time. I add the two commands to my toolbar up top and just have the "New Window" button and "Tile Vertically" button side by side. Makes for quick access to what you're trying to achieve. I prefer code side by side as opposed to on top of each other. Although you add more left-right scrolling, it's easier for me to copy and paste stuff and see the flow a bit better.

    Attached is what I add to the toolbar.

    how do you put the buttons side by side?

    1) Open Settings -> Preferences
    2) Open the "Commands" tab
    3) Scroll down to the "Window" category
    4) Drag and drop "New Window" onto your toolbar up on top
    5) Drag and drop "Tile Window Vertically" next to it.
    6) Sit back and revel in how awesome you are. :D
