Problems displaying RSS News in a TP

I'm trying to display RSS News feeds in a 8400. However, when I try updating a button with new text containing the headlines and details, they get truncated because of the (188-189?) character limit inside a button. Is there any way around it?

Also, is there any way to refresh a button without closing and reopening the popup page?

Try the ^BAT SEND_COMMAND.
It's used for appending text.
Look up ^BAT in AMX-PI for details.
