Has anyone had any trouble with control of Sharp projectors? I have, after months, finally made some progress in that I was able to send commands from HyperTerminal w/o getting only 'ERR' messages in return. After making a 'loop back' null modem cable and then following a specific sequence of operations I was finally able to send any command and have it work. Was wondering if anyone else had similar problems or noticed anything peculiar about getting these to work. I'm still working on getting them to respond to AMX.

    I've not used their projectors, but I have used a lot of the LCDs ... and I've come to the conclusion they aren't very consistent. I have frequently had to play around with the formats to get them to work, and the power commands seem to be the most likely to vary from model to model.
