IP control of Kramer VS-311 HDMI switch

Has anyone done this? It uses the Protocol-2000 format but I can't get it to respond. Everything is the default: 192.168.1.39 with port 5000.
The standard IP_Client_Open code that I use for everything else seems to connect OK but it will not respond to the commands. Naturally, my PC on the same network using their K-Single program works like a champ.
