Modero interface creation

Hi

Can anybody advice graphics software to create animated buttons for G4 panels? Or everybody just modifies AMX sample files and templates?

Thanks.

I use a combination ULead's PhotoImpact and good old Window's Paint. No reason why Photoshop wouldn't do the job either, that I can think of. But I tend to do pretty simple animations, when I am making my own.

The other thing I use is my handy subscription to ClipArt.com. You can use any number of graphics tools to break animations you download into individual frames suitable for use in TPD4.

I use Macromedia Fireworks MX exclusively. It will allow you to create animated buttons, as well as general. You can also preview a page layout in a web browser and it handles all of the mouse-over javascript for you. Then you can export the buttons, snap them into TPD4, and you are off and running.

    The Gimp

I normally use the 'Gimp'.For windows the address is

    http://gimp-win.sourceforge.net/stable.html

It's an open-source alternative to Photoshop and used professionally by many
graphic artists. It my view it is almost on a par with photoshop and improving all the time. There is also a animation plugin for it available from the same page.

For modeling and animating some 3d buttons i'd recommend 'Anim8or'. Again its free and quite easy to get the hang of.

Animations can be output in bitmap form and easily plugged in to tpDesign 4, after some touching up with the Gimp of course.
