how to get a listBox data

Hello again!!
The question is simple:
Is there a way to get the information (text) contained in a row (just one button in the row) of a ListBox?
The idea is that when the button of the listBox is pushed, get the information related to that button.
I?ve tried to read the DATA_EVENT and BUTTON_EVENT of the listBox button (using the port automatically generated by the TPDesign) and i dind?t receive any answer.
