R4-R3 on Windows 7

Has anyone tried to do firmware upgrade of the Mio R4 or R3 on windows 7?
I am trying to do this ..but the device doesn't appear on the online tree. I have the USB LAN driver installed and the device is "ready to use" when connected.
Any ideas?

    Add firewall exceptions for NS3 and TPD4 for "public networks" in windows, then the remotes should show up in the online tree.

    Still trying to learn my way around Win7 but I've installed most of the AMX apps in compatability mode and am having trouble getting an R-4 panel file to transfer. The R4 is not recognized by Windows 7 when I plug it in - it comes up unrecognized - and I am not sure how to install the AMX USB LAN software on Win7. It is installed and running in XP Mode but the remote doesn't seem to pass through to the VM.

    Can someone point me in the right direction?
