MediaPointe control?

Has anyone controlled a MediaPointe encoder?
I need the RS232 protocol. Or a nice module would be great too.

    Here is what MediaPointe sent me for the Vidi4.
    "The shortcut to start/stop a streaming using amx controls is 111 and
    112 respectively."
