Another TIME Issue

Using my first NI-3101 SIG. I haven't had the following problem with other masters.
Now that it is daylight savings time, rebooting the master sets the clock back to standard time even though it's now DST. I have DST rules active and I am checking the default -a time server hourly. If I set the master's clock manually, it seems to maintain the correct time thereafter.
Why wouldn't the master apply DST rules at startup?
Any way to verify that I am actually reaching the selected time server?
Thanks.

In your Master's log you should see an entry such as
each time "something" happens. Exactly what defines that "something" is a detail I don't know.
From the top right "Device" drop down select 00000 - NI Master
Select Log under the Manage Devices tab.
