Control a Samsung SCC-C6403 PTZ Camera

I have a Samsung SCC-C6403 PTZ camera I need to control via an AMX processor. The camera has RS485 control connections but no mention of a protocol. What is the easiest way to accomplish this? Is there a module that will control generic PTZ cameras that will work because I cannot find one for this specific model? Thanks in advance. This is my first camera to control so I am open to any help.

    If they make a DVR or camera switcher, they probably have the protocol in the documentation there, not the camera itself. Most manufacturers aren't thinking in terms of a third-party controller operating the camera directly, and will assume you have a switcher or DVR doing the job. There is a very good chance it uses a Pelco protocol.
