TPI-PRO no video 2nd output

Any thoughts on why I can't get video out of the second output on the tpi dvi pro? I know about the ^TPO send command but there is no video coming out of the port.
Any thoughts? Special undocumented command to enable video?
Another question is I have the 2 by 2 version. There is also a 4 by 4 version. You would think you could use this device almost like a switcher between the inputs and outputs. There are no commands in the manual to route input 1 to output 4.
