AVM Doesn't seem to see Keyboard

Hello, everyone!

Just faced an issue with the MAX AVM - tryed to hook-up a keyboard to an AVM, but nothing happends. AVM does respond to keystrokes in its BIOS Setup, but doesn't seem to do anything when AVM shell is running (cannot select Music or Movies or anything from the AVM's start menu - AVM doesn't respond to any key). Does anybody know how to correct this issue? I tryed different keyboards (standard PS/2) and different AVMs (out of four).

Thanks in advance.

  • Did you also connect a mouse? I have seen that the keyboard only works if there is a mouse connected. And do not forget to reboot the unit.
  • Mouse is required!

I can confirm, if you want to use the keyboard you must also connect a mouse even though the mouse does not function.
