Integra IP Duet Module

Is anyone having problems with it? I have it installed at a job and the client keeps complaining that the unit will not respond to commands roughly 15-20% of the time, particularly input commands - at which point he needs to go to the rack and power on the receiver for it to start working again.

I through in a PULSE[vdvReceiver,27] prior sending the input command, which I though would have fixed it by powering it on first . . . but it appears not.

Ideas?

The only unit I have had problems with is the DTM5.9 (I think that's right.... it's the stereo receiver). Other than that, I have the module working in several jobs without problems. Most of them are in IP mode.

You do not need to send the power on command before an input command. I rolled my own Integra IP module and was having intermittent issues with power on delays until I deleted the power on command all together (it works that way via serial, why not for IP I thought).

It now works great and never misses an input change when turning on.

Right, I wasn't using the power on command - I threw it in there for grins to see if it'd fix the problem. It did not. I have no idea why it's not always turning on the DTR to the correct input. I believe the client is having to go and UNPLUG it for it to start responding to commands again. I too rolled my own module and it worked fine here in the shop, and once I got on site - it didn't work, so I just went with the Duet module just to get that room up and going.

We've decided to order a COM2 to use serial and just be done with it . . . I've been using my own serial module for about 5 years now and have had no problems with it.
