Virtual Keypad html

Hi
I'm looking at using Virtual Keypad for a simple control system that I am hoping to use with Dragon Naturally Speaking to allow basic voice control but don't have a master handy to test with so does anyone know if Virtual Keypad uses normal html for the button text, or are they something else like java or activex?

    Virtual Keypad uses AJAX and DOM, no JVM or plugin needed. What is normal HTML anyway???

    Excellent.. no nasty plugins or image based buttons!! (i.e. flash, activex etc)
