System Time

When I set a touch panel or R4 to display the time using 0:142 I would like the time to always be correct. For example daylight savings time does not change the time on the remotes and touch panels. I know that 0:142 pulls the time from the master. How do I get the master's time to be correct year round?

Either use the built-in Clock Manager in the master, or add the i!-TimeManager module to the project. I personally have always used TimeManager or Scheduler; I have heard of a few issues with the Clock Manager, but have no idea if they are resolved. I can tell you, it defaults to stand-alone, and to use the Daylight Savings portion, you have to set it to network time ... which, of course, presumes you have a connection to a time server, whether on your local network or out in the cloud.

On the firmware 2.xx.xx masters, I use iTimeManager or iSchedule. On the 3.xx.xx master, the clock manager works fine.
