From the documentation, this appears to be a standard NEC LCD display. 9600,N,8,1 with no flow control and a crossover cable for RS232 control. This one has serial as well as network control and it appears that the unit needs to be set to one or the other. I have it set to RS232 but still get no response.
The diagram in the manual shows the DB9 to have 1,7,8 connected and 4 and 6. I've done this on the display end and still get no joy and happiness.
Anyone have any experience with this and have any hints to share?
