Help with P2 Matrix

I am working on my P2 practical and having trouble with feedback on my panel. I can get the button to turn on when clicked and turn off when I make another selection but I can't get the output button's to stay on when selecting another input.

12 x 4 matrix

Let's say I want output 1 to input 1
I want output 2 to input 2
I want output 3 to input 3
I want output 4 to input 4

My lights turn off
