Axcent3 in slave mode

banobano Posts: 174
I'm integrating a used Axcent3 I purchased from ebay into a Netlinx system. Before I switched it over to slave mode I noticed in Open Axcess that IR ports 1 and 6 were configured for serial mode. Despite the fact that I declared both ports 1 and 6 for IR mode in an online data event, I cannot download IR files into the ports in question. Any thoughts?

This is from my poor addled memory - but try sending a ZAP! command to each IR port. (or it might be !ZAP) That'll clear it out of all settings.

Under software history, that command is not listed for Axcent3, but is in AXB-IRS4, so I'll give it a try anyway. Thanks for the quick reply!

    Examples:

SEND_COMMAND Dev,'ZAP!' Clears Dev IR load and sets CTON
    and CTOF to 5.
SEND_COMMAND Dev,'ZAPALL!' Clears ALL 4 devices IR load and
sets CTON and CTOF to 5.

the commands for setting the IR ports will be there as well. Hope you get it going. e
