Aprilaire 8800 T-Stat

Anyone use these T-Stats yet? They're supposed to be the replacement for the 8870 and programmable. I would think they would need to publish a new API to include the programmable feature set but haven't seen one. Anybody?

Can't find the protocols, but I do find references to it using the same "protocol adapter" as the 8870, a 495-to-232 device ( http://www.smarthome.com/manuals/30207.pdf )
Uses the same concentrator as the 8870 too.

Here's the 8880 manual, the setup is the same as the 8700 from what I see

I'd bet the 8870 protocol hasn't changed for this. (Famous last words.)

The new Scheduler might not even be reachable by communications....

The current protocol doesn't have anything related to programming functions so I would expect them to add something so we can disable or enable the T-Stat based program. Maybe even view/modify the entire program through code. If nothing else I would want to see if the program is running and turn it on or off depending on the needs.

Aprilaire has a contractors section if I recall where they keep their documetation for the communicating stuff but I don't recall the URL.

I found the link and here's basically everything that AprilAire has that one would need to reference. These include the install manual for the 8800 and includes all the part typically used for the 8870, dist panel, remote temp sensors, etc. There's also the current (old) programmers giude but I saw no new programming in any of the docs but I bet there's something coming.
