Logging Errors In NetLinx

in AMX Hardware
Has anyone done any Error Logging saving it to the NetLinx flash card Eg:error.txt. Because some systems are not on a Network with E-Mail.
Can you send me some Code/Idea's .

    We have done a Logfile Module, but all the code and the manual is in German only...

    syslog rules ...

    I still prefer syslog for this sort of thing, but to each his own. Logs can be as long as they need, you have tools to look at the logs, they can be archived/compressed, etc.

    For a syslog client, my netlinx-modules project on SourceForge has a NetLinx module that can do syslog logging. You can use a server of your choice on Windows or UNIX or MAC.
