ENV-VST-C Thermostat Wiring Recommendation for Testing Purposes

I have a ENV-VST-C thermostat that I just received.

I want to see how it works in a non-production system.

I connected the AxLink (4 wire) to my Netlinx 4000 master, but the thermostat does not power up.

I assume I need to connect a 24V AC power supply (RH and C connection points ?) , but I wasn't sure.

I am just looking to learn about the thermostat and will eventually put it into a system.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I would also suggest reading the AMX documentation including the quick start instructions and full installation manual before presuming you need extra help. Your comment about connection assumptions and being unsure seem to indicate that you didn't read anything from AMX before posting your question.
