Ok, so I have a bunch of older 57" NEC monitors controlled via RS232
I need to replace them with 70", however need to fit the same VESA 200x200 or 200x100mm mounts, use the same power range, cant weight more then the previous 57" which were 136lb. and be controlled via serial.
We wouldve liked the 70" NEC, however they are 400x400 vesa mounts and weight over 100lb more. We prefered to use the NEC as code update wouldve been peice of cake.
Does anybody have a good idea, i think I may have to spec a consumer grade montior, but i have to have support for serial communication.
Inputs just need dvi/hdmi.
Any input is gladly excepted. Im not up on what consumer TV's are serial connections and are easily worked with.
