looking for some guidance on getting communication going between my NI4100 and tripp lite smart3000rmxl2u via moxa nport5650. I think the real issue is the tripp lite as I can see the moxa transmitting when it should. The tripp lite has a serial port at 2400baud, 8-bit, 1-stop bit, no parity. If I plug in directly and use a terminal I get no results sending command strings for example
$7E,$03,$02,$18,$00,$9B
I've heard this is a difficult device so if anyone has any experience the help would be appreciated.

Thanks for your reply...yeah, that's the right protocol...
~ = $7E
So it doesn't sound like you had any trouble getting it talking once you got the protocol?
