Debug window not showing in ASCII

Greetings,

Does anyone know why Studio would not show variables in the debug window in ASCII? It shows them in hex, dec and oct, but just blank value in ASCII. The values are valid ASCII character values.

    I would guess they are unprintable characters <32 or >126. Sometimes I find I have to check of the total length option as well.

    Thank you. In my case they are definitely printable characters. The data is memory reads from a big LED sign. Looking at the values in decimal or hex shows that the expected data is correct. I will try checking the total length option as you mentioned. Thank you.
