Crashing Netlinx Studio

I noticed this topic also in the posts for "TP4 deleting popups".
Here is what I have discovered. Yesterday I was loading a TP3 panel through an NI4000 with firmware .137 I had no problems. Today I am loading the same TP3 panel through an NI3000 with .141 firmware and Netlinx Studio is constantly crashing, to the point where I cannot load the panel via axlink. When I load the TP3 panel directly via 232 I have no problem.
I have assigned an IP address to the NI3000 and I have turned on dipswitch one. None of these fixed the problem. Anyone experience this? My guess would be there is some kind of problem with the new NI firmware .141
