Does any one have an AMX module or RS232 protocol for Elan DTNR tuner?

Never deal with Elan device before, trying to put the first Elan DTNR tuner into the multiroom system, but I could not find any information in the AMX inConcert site. Does any one have some info about this Tuner?

Thanks,
Yanbin

Same device as the XANTECH dual tuner, out of production. A good unit.
Here's the commands for RS232. All ASCII except ending with the return (shown here in hex). No spaces.
This is for tuner 1. Change the T1 to T2 or Q1 to Q2 for the second tuner.
These are calls to presets, Save new presets from the front panel.

    Step Up T1M1 $0D
    Step Down T1M0 $0D
    Check Status Q1 $0D
    Seek UP T1A1 $0D
    Seek Down T1A0 $0D
    Preset + T1N1 $0D
    Preset - T1N0 $0D
    Select FM T1B2 $0D
    POWER ON X1 $0D
    POWER OFF X2 $0D
    Preset1 L1 $0D
    Preset2 L2 $0D
    Preset3 L3 $0D
    Preset4 L4 $0D
    Preset5 L5 $0D
    Preset6 L6 $0D
    Preset7 L7 $0D
    Preset8 L8 $0D
  • Thanks John!

The Q1 command will return the status of Tuner1. e.g. T1B2P09F09010S10$0D

The Q2 command will return the status of Tuner2. e.g. T2B2P06F08920S11$0D

If the unit is the same as Xantech's XDT-77 then there is also a third command Q3.
This will return the status of both tuners. e.g. T1B2P09F09010S10T2B2P06F08920S11$0D

Also have in mind that the XDT-77 does not report it's feedback automatically. One has to query
the tuner in order to update it's status.
