Generator with RS-232

Does anyone know of a generator than can read information from a propane whole home generator via RS-232 or that has an app? If RS232, preferable not modbus. I am wanting to read fuel level, current output amp and voltage, along with if it is running a test or if there was a power loss. I also want to trigger a test run.

    Generac has an interface that i believe just uses contact closures. Then simple relays fron not backed up electrical circuit to sense utility power and then another from a backed up circuit to sense if the gen is running. Tests run automatically once a week so I've never bothered try to force it. The generac interface set the closure on trouble such as a weekly test that failed.
