KNX Communications Gateway

Hi ,

I have 28 conference Rooms ,I have to install one controller with KNX Getaway in each room ,

all controllers and KNX getaways connected in same V-lan ,as you know AMX controllers and getaways connect through Lan ,so the problem is I can not let one controller to connect just with it's KNX Getaway in same room .some times the controller for Room number 1 connects with KNX getaway room number 4

so please is there way to let the controller just connect with it's Getaway in same room

    You have to set the connection settings in the KNX gateway to connect to a specific controller.
    I think these units are set to automatically connect to a Netlinx controller, which is not very handy when you have 28 of them :)

    You should be able to set the connection settings in the web interface of the KNX gateway (set them to TCP)

    The NXB-KNX is like any other native Netlinx device, master connection options are auto, listen and url.
    Set the master connection to URL and enter the URL of the master in the web interface then it will never connect to the wrong master.

    You could also make sure that each Master has a unique system ID, then set each KNX gateway to connect to its specific system number, still using the Auto setting.
