I want to control a Laptop using serial over USB. I don't want to use iIPC-Link/web and I don't want to have to load front end software on the client Laptop. Is there a way to control a PC using RS232 serial via the USB, or USB to serial adaptor? Using an NI-4000 and a MXT-2000 panel.
