how do I get the PLB-AS8 to work on my stereo

totally newbie here and pickup the PLB-AS8 just to do A,B,C compare between amps, dac, preamp, etc. is there away to do this cheaply ?

It's an analog stereo 8x8 matrix preamp with level control using a proprietary control protocol on an obsolete data link design from 1990. Presuming the audio components have not deteriorated in the last 30 years, still NO.
