BSS Dante and AES67

What is the preferred method to connect a Blu-806 to equipment that uses AES67?

  • Make sure that the firmware is up to date.
    Both the Ethernet and at least the Primary Dante NICs need to connect to the network.
    AES67 is enabled on the Dante block in Audio Architect but most of the configuration and external routing require Dante Controller.

    There's a thorough video series on the Training site
    https://training.harmanpro.com -> Catalog / BSS Audio Signal Processors / On-Demand / Enabling AES67 between BSS and SVSi

  • Currently we have the ethernet control of the BSS and the Dante signals on separate networks. Do these need to be on the same network? The same subnet?

    Dante on the Dante ports (primary and secondary) control etc on the the Ethernet port, best practices would be to go the separate network/vlan route
