Is there a backdoor to unlock a omnidrive fds380? some idiot DJ got on the pc in our clubs system and played with our settings and enabled the \"user lock\" with a password!

    Do you mean the OWNER LOCK? If so, my manual says that you are out of luck.

    Theoretically speaking, all of the settings of the 380 are stored in battery powered memory. No battery means no memory. Of course, taking the lid off your device, removing the battery, and rebooting it once before replacing the battery, would be horrible advice. You could break something, blow something up, or let the magic smoke out of something. Some people might not even realize that you should never insert/remove a battery like that unless the AC power has been disconnected from the wall source.

    Definitely a bad idea. Something I would never suggest. Still interesting through from a purely theoretical standpoint.
