Using a touchscreen moniter with Soundweb London

Has anyone had any success using a touchscreen monitor with the London software? I am looking at installing a 7\" one in our buildings amp rack. I figure it should give us more flexibility then using a BLU-10.

This would be cool I've thought of using small touchscreen PCs also - but the catch is, only one computer can connect at once. So you would not be able to control the system from a wireless PC without going up and disconnecting the 7\". Too inconvenient for me.

We have tested this extensively with no problems.

In our region, a touchscreen and mid-level PC prices up the same as a BLU10.
The only issues are the PC needs to be reasonably close to the PC as the Touchscreen is USB activated, and you will need to load LA on the local PC attatched to the monitor and be aware of sync issue with using multiple PC's on your system.

I am aware that Extron do a twisted pair extender that allows a monitor, USB and keyboard to be controlled over longer distances than USB, so you could remotely place your monitor screen with this.

    Cheers

Or you could just get an ELO 1529 touch screen computer....

Runs XP, and is made for the retail trade so it is tough as nails...
